Kapelle Antiqua Choir
[edit]Does anyone know what happened to the Kapelle Antiqua Choir? I have been searching for their original chant recordings with no success. I find it difficult to believe they have completely disappeared now, especially given the attention received from the Enigma lawsuit. I also noticed that the hyperlink attached to their name in this article has been disabled. Have they disappeared completely?
Sadness versus Sadeness
[edit]The spelling of 'Sadeness' as 'Sadness' on the English release is an incorrect spelling, and should be mentioned in the article if the other parts related to this fact are also included.
- Both spellings were definitely used ...

It's intentional wordplay conjugating Sade and "sadness." Maquis de Sade is mentioned in the song's lyrics, which focuses on morality and sadomasochism.
The latter image you linked to would actually be the misprint, because Engima records have leveled the "Sadeness" spelling throughout every other printing. 98.86.95.85 (talk)
Era was led by Frank Peterson?
[edit]Under Influence it says that both Era and Gregorian was led by Frank Peterson. I cannot find any reference to evident this. On the Era (music project) page, only Eric Levi is mentioned. Can anyone clarify this statement?

Enigma (musical project) → Enigma (German band) – This disambiguator is bad. "Musical project" is not listed in WP:MUSICDAB as an option, and in my opinion, it is a pretentious attempt to make a plural neutral description of the "act". More importantly, it is needlessly long and does not actually disambiguate - it is ambiguous with Enigma (British band), which introduces the band as another "musical project". I understand the concept of these "projects": bands that aren't actually bands, they tend to be controlled by a single person but are often referred to as a collective, so WP has to pick between them (eg Owl City).
I believe (band) to be a suitable disambiguator, for consistency with the British band, and because M83 (band), another "project", seems to have no problem using it, though (group) would also work, should this be the consensus. (Note: I recently moved (UK band) to (British band) which is the preferred demonym used in examples at WP:MUSICDAB) Lazz_R 13:28, 3 May 2019 (UTC)
- "Band" for this Enigma is a stretch, but "musical project" does not clearly disambiguate from Enigma (British band). (Also nb Era (musical project).) — AjaxSmack 23:34, 5 May 2019 (UTC)
- The term Band would be incorrect use for Enigma as there are no band members behind it, it's just Michael Cretu. Therefore, I believe Project is more suitable.--Harout72 (talk) 13:18, 6 May 2019 (UTC)
- Support per Enigma_(musical_project)#Member_timeline the other band is also a musical project if one likes. In ictu oculi (talk) 19:38, 8 May 2019 (UTC)
- Support per nom. Musical project is not a useful disambiguator. To the lay reader, it could indicate a band, an album, a concert, musical theater, or even a noise-making sculpture. bd2412 T 17:13, 11 May 2019 (UTC)
